South Metro Development Outlook (SMDO) is the brainchild of Michael Hightower, Managing Partner of The Collaborative Firm, LLC, a Planning, Program Management and Development Company.

 

SMDO was established in 2003, and it has emerged to become the largest development conference of its kind in south metropolitan Atlanta. The purpose of the conference is to provide a platform that convenes elected officials, appointed individuals and industry professionals with an interest in fostering sustained economic growth throughout the Region, with a specific focus on Clayton, Coweta, Douglas, Fayette, Fulton, and Henry Counties, as well as the City of Atlanta.

 

It features relevant topics of interest that align with the current state of South Metro, as well as the State of Georgia. Michael Hightower has always been a proponent of sustainable development throughout South Metro, which has increasingly become a major player in the region, solidifying itself as a beacon for the region’s economic growth.
